Possessive Pronouns

Possessive pronouns are those designating possession. It is used to avoid repeating information that has already been made clear.

Mine, Yours, His, Hers, its, Ours, Theirs.
Example: This is not your pen, it’s mine.

Difference between Possessive Adjective and Pronoun.

This is my pen: The word is grammatically an adjective.
It´s mine: The word is grammatically a pronoun.

Possessive Adjectives:
It goes before the object.                                             The subject must be mentioned.

Possessive Pronouns:
It needn't mentioned the object.                        It typically found at the end of a sentence or clause.
