Prepositions of Direction

A preposition of direction tells where to go or where to put something or show us to where or in which direction something moves. Some examples are: to, on, onto, in, into, towards and through.

up (áp) - por, hacia arriba 
down (dáun) - por, hacia abajo 
into (íntchu) - dentro de, al, hacia adentro 
out of (áurov) - de, afuera de, fuera de 
on / onto (ón / óntchu) - sobre, al 

off (off) - de, fuera de 
over (óuver) - sobre, por encima de 
under (ánder) - debajo de, bajo 
to (tchú) - a, hacia 
from (fróm) - de, desde
